Comparing today sunsets with my wife, hers
is Samsung hot and Palm Springs bright, beautiful
as mine, from slightly lower latitude
and slightly higher altitude
and slightly farther from the penumbric edge,
mine is LG “life’s good” cool and Pine Valley hue-ish, wonderful.
We have shared sunsets when we had nothing else to share, they make the end of decades enjoyably endurable
by virtue of wonder and beauty
apprising the glory value of each and every day,
any eye may see such things
and imagine seeing more glory than seers once said they saw.
